Privacy notice

SMARtCareer is a product of DNRS.ai. This page says what we do with your information, in plain words. It is a summary, and DNRS.ai's counsel should review it before you rely on it as a legal document.

Your resume

By default it is analyzed on our own server by local, non-generative models (a sentence-embedding model and fixed rules). It is not sent to any language model.
Only if you choose the optional AI wording helper, and after you agree on screen, your resume lines are sent to Google Gemini. Before sending we remove your name and contact details (email, phone, links, handles) and replace employers and schools with placeholders, which we restore here. We anonymize as well as we can, but we cannot guarantee it: dates, job titles, numbers and project names are sent as written and could identify you. You can see the exact text before you agree.
It reaches our server through Cloudflare's encrypted tunnel. Cloudflare is our network provider and handles that traffic as such; it is not used to analyze your resume.
It is stored in a private workspace identified by a random cookie, not by your name. The workspace is deleted after 7 days of inactivity, or immediately when you press Delete my data.
Your resume already contains your own contact details, such as your email, phone number and city. They are processed and stored in your private workspace like the rest of the resume, and they appear in the files we generate for you. We do not ask for them separately.
If you upload a PDF, we keep the file itself in your private workspace so we can show it next to the new version. It is deleted with the workspace.
Generated files contain only what your resume contained. They carry no tool name or payment reference.

What we do not ask for

There is no account. Checking, improving and previewing your resume need no email address. If you choose a paid plan, checkout asks for an email address for your receipt and a billing address; Stripe, our payment provider, collects and processes your payment details, and we never see your card number. We keep the receipt email, the plan, the time of purchase and the terms you accepted (version, time, IP address and browser) as a record of the sale, for the retention period stated in the terms.

Access codes

A subscription gives you a subscriber code, shown once. We keep only a keyed hash of it with the plan and the subscription reference, so the code cannot be read back. Other access codes, if we issue one for support, are stored the same way. Your plan is checked with Stripe to see whether it is still active.

Technical data

Your IP address is used briefly, in memory, to limit abuse. We do not store it with your resume or in any record about you. Cloudflare, as our network provider, sees it as it carries the connection.

Cookies

One strictly necessary cookie identifies your private workspace. There is no advertising or tracking cookie.
